Yeah, Don. We are about 12 inches ahead of our normal 4 month average total
and some areas are at least 20 inches ahead. To compare, we average about
34 inches of rain per year...most of the time. Part of the road into the
CPM site was knee deep in water as late as Sunday afternoon. It's storming
all to be damned out to the west about 100 miles with that and other storms
moving this way. I had to go out about 80 miles west of Abilene yesterday
and the croplands look like swamps. I would hate to be a
farmer......anywhere.

One of the great things about living in Texas is that they have two
rendezvous seasons, Spring and Fall-- too hot in the summer. When I lived in
Dallas I attended all the local ones and Commanche Peak was always an
excellent doins along with many of the others.
