According to the following URL, it's "Francois!", but that's just what this particular interpretation says.  Wonder if this was written directly from an "official" release of the lyrics, or if it's just been interpolated somewhat?

It's "dancer" (pronounced "dahn-say") which is the French verb meaning
"to dance"

Well, first I chose the obligatory song for the tribute by doing "The
Safety dance", now I've done the obligatory "Extended Dance Version".

Both versions are in Realaudio format at my music page:

My host doesn't support streaming audio so you'll have to download the
whole thing first, but don't fret, they're only 620kb a piece. Also, The
extended version is in low-quality realaudio because my host won't allow
files over 1 meg.

DOES ANYONE KNOW A FREE HOST THAT WILL ALLOW FILES UP TO 2 MEGS, OR AT
LEAST A FREE HOST WHICH PROVIDES STREAMING MEDIA AT NO COST?

I realize I'm asking a lot looking for free stuff, but hey, I'm cheap
like that sometimes!

Great job, Tony!  Both covers sound great, but I especially like the "hook"
you used in the extended version (ya' know?  The one that replaces those
octave-jumping beeps. . . .)  I can only hope that the other cover tunes

Hello, its me!

I have set up a web page to allow members of the Men without Hats mailing
list a place to post the songs they have created.

Please not that this is a password protected website. It is only to be used
by members of this mailing list.

You can log on there now and download the only song we have on there now. It
is Flat Stanley doing his wonderful version of "Where do the boys go".

I am not in charge of this project and do not want to be in charge. I am
just providing a place we can all use. I was thinking about even adding a
forum so people can leave feedback about the songs but I figured we can just
use this mailing list to give feedback. If the forum sounds like a good
idea, please let me know.

I sent an e-mail to Stefan telling him I was going to do this and he seemed
ok with the idea as long as its only along members of this mailing list.
Please do not go posting this information on other parts of the internet.
This web site is only to be used by members of this MWH mailing list. Stefan
said this to me "if it's good enough to commercialize, you'll need proper
authorization from our publishers as well as ourselves, but if it's just for
fun, it could be ok."

I figure  we can just post the files to the web site for now because it is
"just for fun" and later if we get enough songs we can look at the
possibility of creating a "Real CD" and going through the "proper
authorization" to create such a cd, until then I say we just have fun and
let each other share our versions of Men without Hats songs.

The cool thing about doing it this way is you can upload your song even if
its not done or change it at any time you wish.

Its time we finally got this MWH mailing list going again :)

If I am out of line with this whole thing somebody tell me and I can take
this web page down.

I have found the original was at quite low kbps but the dload from Richard
Holdmans site is at 128 and is much better sounding.

"I like" in the extended version when that 'word' (dancez?) comes up.
