  45. We (Glacid) are still planning on doing Security, although we'll
  46. probably end up recording it ourselves and not paying for the studio
  47. time. Can anyone recommend any Windows-based software for recording?
  48. I've heard good things about Cool Edit Pro. We're playing it at our next
  49. gig, and I'll do a live recording of the soundboard and post an mp3 for
  50. comments. Talk to you cool cats later!

  96. I'm assuming I was one of the three 'leaders' (with the risk of sounding
  97. bold).
  98. I offered to do all the mastering, artwork (unless any was submitted)
  99. etc., and
  100. I have some fantastic contacts, I even offered my postal address for
  101. submission
  102. of the tracks. I have had numerous conversations with Stefan regarding
  103. copyright
  104. and have been in touch with the APRA and AMCOS regarding the
  105. technicalities of
  106. this in Australia.

  108. But nothing ever eventuated. I've never received any songs or artwork or
  109.  
  110. anything. When I mentioned the cost of producing this CD (at no personal
  111. profit,
  112. I might add), I fear people were a bit put off - some mentioned doing
  113. MP3
  114. versions etc. as a cheaper alternative. Then the conversation swayed
  115. into a
  116. friendly debate about MP3 (I'm a bit guilty here...). That seems to be
  117. where it's stayed.

  119. I'd like to be involved. Frankly I'm extremely busy on my own projects,
  120. but
  121. because I have the resources, I'm still happy to help out. If anyone
  122. else thinks
  123. they can do a good job, then that's cool with me too...
