That would be awesome! What colors were you thinking about? I would
think a black cap with a yellow/ red logo would look really tight. I
would go for the logo without the name, but whatever.
I REALLY want a shirt, if anyone is up for that.
Glacid premiered our version of Security at a gig two weekends ago.
Seemed to go pretty well. We still hope to record it sometime this
summer.
I've been meaning to ask... are there any other list members in Texas?
Just curious. Talk to y'all later!

Subject: (hats) Hatless hats
I do not like regular baseball caps as they are too stiff and as the old
wives tale indicates they cause baldness. However I have seen a hat that was
sorta a cross between a painters cap and a bike riders hat.
It has a drawstring in the back with a bead for adjustment. It is
reversible. The bill/visor is a soft foam material that keeps its shape. It
would be quite inexpensive I believe. It would also be most easy to make
the top (which is a circle!) in yellow and put the logo there large and
proud and the entire outer edge of about 3" is then open for more logos or
whatever. Mine also has a 'label' attached to the drawstring that is
embroidered with a saying. Like perhaps 'We can dance' or something else
short. I may take this one (it is many years old and all black) and have
the logo airbrushed on the top.
I am much more interested in getting a MWH shirt. The website hinted at
shirts on the way but I want one for summer (NOW) so I may need to see an
airbrusher for my first one.
I think if others of you want a shirt or three it would be beneficial to
say so on here and someone ,on the list, who has experience in making
extremely EXCELLENT creations may be swayed into providing more or perhaps
passing the recipe to a list member who owns a Tshirts plus store.
LOL! Yes I can spell
g r o v e l i n g and b e g g i n g.
Greetings to any/all band members who may still be with us. A hello
would be great.

First time I wore my hats-T was the day when I went and bought a straw
hat, a really good, expensive one, and walked around in town for the rest
of that day wearing both, the hat and the shirt...
> Would anybody else be intrested in such a thing?
Yes, I would be. Just take care that the visor is large to protect the
face from the sun.

Well, that's a tough one. Maybe better _with_ "Men Without Hats" above or
below thw logo, to make the point clear, as there seems to be a lot of
confusion about the standalone logo. ;-)
Also, I'd prefer a light base colour. Beige would suit me best.
Just my Opinion!!
Just take care that Stefan doesn't get you for using the name/logo. :-/

Count me in for just the logo. At least if people have to ask what it
means, we have a hope of bringing them to the light! ;-)
I agree with the person who said not a "real" baseball-type cap. I
personally don't have to worry about the male pattern baldness
issue, but I just look like a dork in a cap with such a high dome.
There is another style of baseball cap with a very soft, rounded
dome, I think it is much like the painters/bikers cap someone else
described. They are soft cotton, and could even be embroidered
with the logo instead of a silk screen.
I will try to work on the T-shirt thing over Easter - there is actually a
dog show in town this weekend so I don't have to drive forever...

Stefan threatened to sue at least one list member for distributing the
CDs - for which the count had risen to, I think, 10. Since then there
hasn't been anything of note to discuss about Stefan, Ivan, or MWH
in general. We were all a happy bunch of devoted fans until that
happened. Now we just sit around waiting for Stefan to make good on
his implied effort to properly and legally distribute similar materials
to people on the list and/or the public at large. So far nothing's
happened in that regard. The list has died. I would have unsubscribed
but the traffic is so low now the fact that I'm still subscribed is
barely noticeable to me.

Subject: (hats) top ten reasons to be women and men without hats
Hey you mad hatters:
I think this string of MWH T-shirts stories is great.
So far we've got:
1. A guy is staring at his shirt for at least a couple of minutes
before he finally gets the nerve to come up to him:
"No BUTLERS? What do you have against Butlers?"
2. A young girl in the class he was teaching said
"No 80's music. Good- I hate 80's music."
Needless to say she did NOT get an A.
--Dave
3. My mother once saw my shirt and asked me what I was protesting.
--Dave Mattingly
4. I keep getting people asking me if I'm a lesbian ("no men") - bet
*that* doesn't happen to most of the people on the list!!
--Laura in NC
5. My wife calls them "anti-man" shirts - which is quite alright with me
as long as it doesn't cause me to do away with myself in the process!
--Myke
Can anyone think of anything else to protest, or any "-isms" it could
stand for?
- --a quebecois revolutionary movement called "les sans-chapeaux"
(loosely based on the ideas of the sans-coullottes, ca. 1789)
- --a sign of millenary discrimination against English gentlemen:
"no bowler hats"
- --a catchy logo for new-wave editions of Washinton Irving's "The Legend of
Sleepy Hollow" (no heads)
hatlessly,

Richard...
I think the idea of a MWH baseball cap is cool. I used to have a MWH
baseball cap actually. A radio station had printed a bunch of hats with
their radio logo plus the MWH logo in the middle of the cap and given them
away for free at a local show here in SLC, UTAH when MWH was the supporting
band for Icehouse. The hats were white with the MWH logo in red. But...I
like the idea that Kevin mentioned of a black hat with the yellow and red
MWH logo on it. I'd also love to get a shirt eventually.
Anyways, Richard, If you do decide to make hats you can count me in on
purchasing one.
Let me know the details if it pans out.
Take Care,
Steve Sundstrom

You mentioned MWH hats... "Men Without Hats"... hats??
Would that then make us "With Hats"?
Sounds like a strange change, but I'd have something to wear with my
shirt : )
