Subject: Re: (hats) Idea for opening act
I would have to agree with Angie on that one... that is, opening with
songs that MWH would play anyway. I like the idea, but I think it would
be just a little too weird, not only for us, but for Ivan and Co. as well.
By the way, is this concert actually a go? I haven't heard that anything
has been contracted yet.
Nathan
Oh, Tom, was it you that was selling the CD#4, or someone else. I'd love
a copy from whoever is doing the CD 4 thing.

Nothing has actually been contracted as of yet. It seems Francis keeps
playing "telephone tag" with Ivan's manager....things are rolling along,
though.

That's why I was not too much excited about an opening act BUT a second

This is not an easy one.
Like I told you before, IVan's manager is VERY busy with 2 others band in
montreal. I reached him last week, he told me that we have to set a meeting
and discuss about the show.
I'M READY!!!! HE'S NOT !!! ARGRGRGGGG
He called me back yesterday, I was out of town for work. Today, I left him 2
messages. He has my work phone, cellular and home.

Howdy Hatters!
re: ideas for opening act: i'd have to agree with angie...this would not be
one of the best things for all concerned, beingst we're going to have the
real McCoys anyhoo....perhaps we could plan something like that for the
actual `convention/gathering'...btw: any more info re: that matter?
re: recording the show...moose has the right idea...DAT would give longer
recording time, plus, if something is jostled accidently *as most of you
will be dancing if you want to;)* unlike a CD/CD-R, a DAT will not
skip...not that there would be a HUGE risk of this, but it is another valid
point/argument for DAT:)
still working on my fave albums list, i'll think of one eventually...

the foresight to have more than one source for recording this fete (either

sound quality (in comparision to our more modern recordable counterparts;)
