Hi hatterz,
Some of you may remember, but I'm sure most of you forgot (grin), that once
I asked if anyone would like to make some music for my upcoming comic/humour
website. Well, my site is slowly coming along and this time I'm asking if
anyone here knows someone (from Quebec) who would like to translate my site.
I want to make a french version but my french isn't great and until I learn
it 100%, I'll need someone else to translate it. Um...voluntary I guess
since I can't really afford to pay (maybe when I start making money on this,
who knows?)-- how much do translators charge anyway? Or, if that person
needs a website designed, I can do that as payment.
Oh well, if you know someone who'd like to do this, let me know.
Bye all!

You can always use Babelfish to do your translations...
Just keep in mind that it's a computer doing the translating, and the
language coming out won't sound too natural. But it might be a good
start until you can find a translator, if nothing else.
Just go here: http://babel.altavista.com/translate.dyn
You can either cut-and-paste your text and have it translated, or you
can supply the URL of your website and view your site in another
language. It's really pretty cool!
Anybody else have any "Ideas for Webs"? Ok, I threw that in thereto
have *some* sort of MWH reference. People who know me know that Ihave
a very dry sense of humor!
Take care, all!
Steve

Oh - my - gawd, this is HYSTERICAL!!! Take the time to download the clip!! It
is SOOOO worth it!
Maybe one of you super techie people can figure out how to actually put this to
the Safety Dance - that would be AWESOME. :-)
Then we could be sued by both Stefan AND the Godzilla people. ;-)

Subject: (hats) Collin from Ithaca? RE: German Safety Dance
Date: 16 Oct 2000 19:57:07 -0500
Hi,
I know I've asked about this already, but I REALLY want to hear the
German version of Safety Dance ("Nur Wir Zwei" by Bang Bang) that's
listed on the discography, and that Collin from Ithaca writes about in
his post from Jan 1999 (which I've cut and pasted below). Did anyone
convert this record to mp3 or wave file for Collin? I tried emailing
him, but his address has changed.
Collin, if you're still here, let me know if you still have the record -
I'd love to get a copy, and of course I'd be willing to copy it for you
(and pay for shipping, insurance).
If anyone else can help, please let me know... thanks! - Kevin
Collin's message from Jan 17, 1999:
About a year ago I was at a record fair in NYC. It was for the
radio station WFMU. At this fair, I found a group called Bang Bang. It
was
a single of a song called Nur Wir Zwei. On the record cover, it said
that
it was the German version of Safety Dance.
It is. It's an extremely rare record and does in fact mirror
safety dance....except in German. It's got an instrumental on the flip
side as well. If somebody on the list is interested in putting this on a
CD boot....I"d be more than happy to either send it or make a copy on to
Mini Disc or something.

Nadie Es Eterno. That sounds like Spanish. It's also a Spanish label, I
believe. Maybe I'm wrong though...are we sure CDNow didn't just screw up,
and this is a different Ivan?

Well folks (of the... oh forget it),
We're close to finishing the album. I am waiting for two more songs, and
an album cover.
If anyone else wants to have a song on this comp, or has any artwork
ideas, now would be a good time to submit.
