While waiting to read the Dread Empire, I've been reading Philip K.
Dick. I've noticed some similarities between Glen and Phil.
I like the way they both keep the reader guessing. Most stories end
with a surprise or it just ends. The characters don't always survive.
I guess the comparison is harder because Glen writes sf and fantasy
where Phil writes mostly sf. Any responses?
Troy

I see a little resemblence, mostly in their dark outlook. Dick's 'Deus
Irae' is a good example. Well written, but pretty morose stuff. Reminds me
of the fatalism in the 'doomstalker' series.
