I was half suspecting my post would bounce. The list seems to be in the
middle of one it's dead periods again.

After reading what I thought was a terrible Bleak Seasons and asking for
feedback, I was pleased to hear that the series improved immensively
afterwards. Taking a chance, I bought and read the next book and agree
100% that the series is much better towards the end than the beginning.
I didn't like the excess length fo the books in comparission to the
first series but hell, it probably prevented it from being an even
longer series right?

Tends to happen while we are all waiting for the next story and nobody
new joins the list.

For myself, I tend to be let down at the end of every Glen Cook book, I
enjoy his writing so much; the longer the better.
I didn't read Bleak Seasons until the next one was already available, so
that was a pleasant time for me, plowing through two in a row like that.

The credit (blame?) for that one's mine, since I lent Dave Pulver (author
of G:R) _The Dragon Never Sleeps_ way back when. I'm fairly sure Cook
appears in a couple of his other bilbiographies. (Still pissed I didn't
manage to get the hairsplitter into either of the UltraTech books).

Do we have any news on whether Glen Cook has completed his new fantasy trilogy? Hopefully, a break will occur and he can start work on a new Black Company book.
