would think the shape the particular book is in would affect price as well,
if they're old or used or whatever.

Anybody heard anything new on the new Cook Crime
novel? I love the crime/detective genre and am
anxious to see Cook's dark twist. Let me know if
anyone has any news(a release date would be
outstanding)

From: Richard Chilton <rchilton@auracom.com>
Subject: (glencook-fans) Spotted a reference to Cook
Sometimes RPG (Role Playing Games) books will cite a novel as an
example. Recently while re-reading a GURPS book I came across a
reference I'd missed the first time (or first couple of times) through.
GURPS Robots, Pg 75:
"Ideas for how biological androids and society interact can be found in
the film _Bladerunner_ (bases on Philip K. Dick's novel _Do Androids
Dream of Electric Sheep?_), the Japanrse manga _Appleseed_, and the
novels_Friday_ by Robert A. Heinlein, _Cyteen_, _Port Eternity_, and
_Serpent's Reach_ by C.J. Cherryh, _The Dragon Never Sleeps_ by Glen
Cook, _Schismatrix_ and the _Crystal Express_ anthology by Bruce
Sterlingm and _Norstrilia_ by Cordwainer Smith."
Not the world's best contructed sentence (I would have used more ; and
fewer ,), but it mentions Cook. When it was written (1995) the book was
already 6 years old.
Richard
