Even if it takes me 20 years I'll do it. I collect a few other authors as
well and enjoy collecting alot. I've been doing it since I was a teenager.
GC however has a bigger range than the others so maybe I've bitten off more
than I can chew :)

I just discovered Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe books, which appear to have =
been one of Glen's inspirations for the Garrett books. Has there been a =
thread about this already? =20
For those who don't know, the Wolfe books involve a brilliant, =
reclusive, obese detective (i.e., sort of like the dead man) who never =
leaves his house and his leg-man, Archie Goodwin, who does all the =
adventuring, then reports to Wolfe, who provides a nearly supernatural =
intellectual perspective.
Like I said, I assume this has come up before. If it has, a tip as to =
the date of the thread would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Larry
