Here's a question - alas, not a pleasent one:
How are you feeling?
If he's had to cancel events due to his health the questions about new
BC or Dread Empire books may become moot.

OK. I have the 5 questions. To anyone I missed, sorry.
1) How is the crime novel coming (or was that a detective novel)?
<A couple of you asked for this one...>
2) How do you feel about online publishing and ebooks. I know some
authors are enthusiastic about this and others not so much. What are
your opinions on this subject. (Related: Have you heard about Baen's
"Free Library" program and if so what do you think about it?)
<Yeah, I kinda wanted to ask that one too...If he's not aware of it, I
printed out a copy of Eric Flint's intro in case he's interested>
3) What's upcoming?
<Tim and Alison, I assume that's what your question about proofs meant...>
4) Does Glen have any new plans for the unpublished Dread Empire book?
(I think everyone on the list would
like to see something happen to this one.) On a side note to the list,
another favorite author of mine, Richard Knaak has actually commenced
writing a bunch of short stories continuing his DragonRealm saga based
on pre-sale through the internet. He used Paypal to collect the cash. He
says the stories will be available exclusively online.
5) How's your health these days? Some of the list members had heard that
you had been ill and wanted to know if you're doing OK.
I'll ask Glen if he's willing to answer some or all of these questions.
Also, some of you submitted others offlist, and if he doesn't have a
problem with a few additional questions, I'll pass those along too.
Regards,
B. Wheeler

As a professional writer I can tell you (1) is a bad idea. No writer likes
to hear this question posed. Ever. ;)
You might rephrase so the question doesn't ask about progress.

Actually, I believe the book was finished quite some time ago 5/01. The
question is when and by whom is it going to be published.

I was visiting this UK site which shows a bibliography of Glen's work.
There's a photo of Glen and underneath, the caption of course says Glen
Cook, then underneath that an aka...is Glen Cook his real name or is it
his alias?
I won't post site's link: I'm not sure if it's untrue or if it is true,
something (real name) that he wanted private.
