Eric, Welly,
Porn filters may have been triggered by this:
"I'll put page references whenever possible so
the hardcore storyline fans who read this can either
^^^^^^^^
corroborate or disprove me."
*sigh*

While we're off topic, if you're looking to use a better spam
filter and you read email on Unix then check out Spam Assassin at
http://www.spamassassin.org/. I use it in conjunction with procmail
and it works very well. I've reduced my spam from 35+ messages per day
to less than 1. It rates each mail message based on a whole bunch of
criteria and only if the message is above a certain threshold does it
mark it as spam. Things like the above mentioned word would not by
itself mark it as spam. I shunt the mail marked as spam to a junk
folder and occasionally check it.
I did have to put in some procmail rules to make sure that
I get all of my mailing lists since some of them have advertising but
since I've done that it hasn't had a single false positive.
Spam Assassin for Unix is free and there is a non-free Windows
version for Outlook 2000/XP with a 14-day free trial made by another company:
http://www.deersoft.com/sp_pro.html I haven't tried that one though.
If you need help setting it up just send me email.

Subject: (glencook-fans) Baen books
I was looking through the bibliography and then decided to just
email the list. Have any of Cook's books been released by Baen (or one
of their imprints)? I'm wondering because Baen Books has that "free
library" of online books which seems to be helping Eric Flint's and
some other author's sales. (see http://www.baen.com/library/)
I was thinking that if any of Cook's books were by Baen then
we could encourage him to put them online in the free library section.
