  129. I Don't often get my reading materials and my musical taste mixed together 
  130. but something occurred to me the other day. I've read the Black Co. several 
  131. times now and occasionally while reading I found a scrap of an old tune 
  132. running around in my head. I didn't even recognize it the first three or 
  133. four times but eventually I remembered it and dug out the old vinyl album ( 
  134. "Forgotten Songs and Unsung Heroes" by John Kay). The Song is called "Bold 
  135. Marauder" and was originally written and recorded by Richard Farina. I 
  136. haven't heard his version but John Kay's version is kind of a cross between 
  137. a ballad and a chant. (For you Gen X'ers John Kay was formerly the lead 
  138. singer of Steppenwolf). With the exception of the mention of Christ in the 
  139. lyrics it could have been written with the Black company in mind. I am 
  140. including the lyrics here. The MP3 I found on Napster without too much 
  141. trouble. It might even make good background music for a BC web page. Just 
  142. thought I would throw something different in the Mix.
