Wasn't Croaker's ear smoke a part of Goblin's or One-eye's magic?

Subject: (glencook-fans) Black Company Marching Song???
I Don't often get my reading materials and my musical taste mixed together
but something occurred to me the other day. I've read the Black Co. several
times now and occasionally while reading I found a scrap of an old tune
running around in my head. I didn't even recognize it the first three or
four times but eventually I remembered it and dug out the old vinyl album (
"Forgotten Songs and Unsung Heroes" by John Kay). The Song is called "Bold
Marauder" and was originally written and recorded by Richard Farina. I
haven't heard his version but John Kay's version is kind of a cross between
a ballad and a chant. (For you Gen X'ers John Kay was formerly the lead
singer of Steppenwolf). With the exception of the mention of Christ in the
lyrics it could have been written with the Black company in mind. I am
including the lyrics here. The MP3 I found on Napster without too much
trouble. It might even make good background music for a BC web page. Just
thought I would throw something different in the Mix.
