Someone probably saw the elephant in the painting and decided it made for an
accurate depiction of the battle at Charm. Of course that's assuming the
person picking the art work actually read the books. ;-}

Blade was black. The long blonde hair reminds me of
Willow Swan, but he was definitely no Alexander the
Great. I'm not sure why this SFBC uses these types of
paintings for Black Company covers? Must be the
cheapest way to do it.
