I also see the connection of close amero/euro/black in the band
Silver Convention. Their song Fly Robin Fly is funky, disco, euro
and popular in the US.
Which brings to mind the question I have often wondered. What was
the first Disco record??? THE HUSTLE? Fly Robin Fly? Donna
Summer's Love to Love You Baby? I think its the Hustle but I'm
guessing. Also I would bet there are much earlier underground
songs from the early 70s that were considered disco.
