Please stop sending me requests for the free exotica list!
Send your snail mail address to vinyllives@earthlink.net.
I repeat: I am _not_ the person to send your requests to.

What's up? I stopped receiving postings to the exotica list around the first
of the month. Have I been unsubscribed somehow?

I'm getting almost nothing as well, and my posts are not showing up. What's
going on? Bob

Likewise for me. I'm seeing only sporadic messages from exotica these
days. I posted and it never showed up... am wondering if this will even
appear.

OST: The Forbidden Planet........musique-concrete, yuk
WESLEY WILLIS: Greatest Hits.....20 times the same (cliche) song; not bad
enough to be funny, not good enough either
BIOTA: Object Holder.............musique-concrete, yuk
OST: The 5000 fingers of Dr. T...not funny or exotic in any way; maybe of
sentimental value if you have seen the film?

in the dementia newsgroup, i picked up the news that there will be a mel
blanc cd (or box?) later this year; i think that's great news, as almost
nothing from him is available on cd (only a couple of tracks on some
compilations) and his vinyl is incredibly expensive and hard to find.

Hello out there,
Just saw the cover of the Beastie Boys new one called The In Sound
From Way Out, and yes it replicates the album of the same name by
Kingsley/Perrey. Anyone know if this homage also exists in the music
(moog effects, etc.)?
I have 20 or so exotica/moog records up for set sale. If interested
email.
