i am new to this list (subscribed today), and while that, in and of itself, is no good reason to post, i do have a question for ya all.
a friend of mine had been looking for an album by chick corea that was released on polydor in 1978(?) by the name of secret agent. from my understanding, and research, it was never re-released on vinyl or released on CD. if anyone out there has any information on where i could find it, it would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. i am also looking for a discography for the mystic moods orchestra. i have approximately 15 of their albums and am looking to complete my collection. i just don't know what i am missing.

An ingeniously funny bit featuring two commentators describing in detail, and with sound effects, the goings on at a fictional farting contest.Towards the beginning, they describe one of the contestants entering the ring and give details about his attire, saying that the aperture from where the sound emanates, called the "Finesse du Breeze" was decorated with fringe. It's pretty funny stuff (for an entire record of fart jokes.)

sorry for the blatant commercialism, but i couldn't pass this one up...
i think what you may be referring to is the "Crepitation Contest"
record, which circulated on bootleg 78s for years. In fact, I have 2
discs of a 3-disc set of just such a bootleg- the third disc was not to
be seen in the thrift where i picked them up. they're just acetates with
hand-written labels.
Anyway, I currently have what I think is a 1970s 33rpm issue of the
classic Crep Contest recording for auction on ebay, if anyone's

yeah, it's not really a novel. you could write it in crayon on bog roll and it wouldn't stretch from here to the wall. it's about an artist who uses his violent farting as the motor impulse for his hysteric drawing. it's quite silly but well worth the 1/2 hour it would take to read it. the 2 collages in the edition i saw, which i assume were done by him, were dead good though.

Congrats to Nate for such a concentrated score. I'm feeling equal bits
of envy and pride in a fellow exotica collector filling out his vinyl library.

Coming from the same guy who, albeit jokingly, said that the Three Suns
suck, I'm not sure how serious this statement is. I think Nate needs to
warm up to Yma's voice ...Bow down to the Incan enchantress. We are not
fans of her voice we are mesmerized by it. We bathe in the husky low
vibrato and quake to the piercing upper octaves. Yes, we listen to her
albums in one sitting, we listen to
her entire recorded output whilst in a rapturous haze.
I have a 120 min. tape that is all Yma and it hasn't broke yet....
