I have noticed on my 1998 DR350 that there is no master link on the =
chain. How is one to remove the chain without damaging the links?
Thanks,

What you need to do is get a chain breaker. It's a small tool made for =
pressing out the pins.
Motion Pro makes a nice one for about $25 it works very well. Then you =
have to buy a master.
The other alternative is to grind off the pin and hammer it out with a =
punch. Believe me the tool
is worth the money.

Subject: RE: (dr350) Need Help With DR350S 98' Fuel Problem
Hi John, Happy new year to you. Yes this sounds like the same problem. I was
just thinking about you I just stocked a bunch of new DR350 dirt carbs and
am putting together a complete kit that includes every thing needed to make
the switch. a spacer to clear the starter and provide a vacuum port for the
petcock hose. a dirt carb manifold. the carb. two longer socket head
capscrews. and a new single cable throttle assembly and cable. the price is
$330.00 . These carbs go for almost $300.00 alone. Just thought I would let
you know I will have the kit on the website soon....be careful new years
eve.
Regards ..Jesse

Subject: (dr350) 350 to 350E ?
Hello,
Has anybody got any information on the topic whether it is possible to
put an electric starter on a normal kickstart DR350 ?
Anybody tried it before ? Are there kits available for that ?
I'm just tired of becoming all sweaty in my goretex suit before I have
driven an inch ... :)

Hi Tim, It would prohibitively expensive due to the fact that the cases are
different. The starter is mounted on the left side of the bike and drives
off of the magneto flywheel you just need to get it jetted right and get the
valve and head issue figured out then it will start easy. Megacycle cams
have been closed for the holidays I will be able to check on your cam issue
next week. hope you have a happy new year.......Jesse
