Hey Mark,
Just teasing, really!! I have removed and reinstalled every part on
each of my bikes. I am very familiar with the sometimes difficult
aspect of getting the carb air boot. The way you wrote the procedure
you followed to replace a jet struck me as funny. Thanks for the
laugh. If you ever need a good chuckle I'll tell you about the joys of
putting on a new rear tire....

Subject: (dr350) Oil leak???
Hi all,
My new 1998 DR350SE had oil all over the front of the
engine after an eighty mile ride yesterday. It wasn't much,
but spread all over. I checked all the fittings on the front
of the engine, and none seemed very loose if any. After
tightening them, I ran the engine up to temp, let it cool
and did it again. Did not have time to take it one the road.
Anyone have any suggestions what it may have been? Possibly
something not obvious, but maybe there is something common
that someone knows about.
Thanks, Wayne Marsula'
