Chris, its not economicaly feasable the left case is molded to accept the
starter mechanism if you get a factory shop manual, midwest action cycle
has them as inexpensive as any one I know. You will see whats going on
plus you can intellegently work on your bike what a novel thought. Jesse

3 things Keith-
1) is there no idle adjuster on the 'S' bikes?
2) sorry about the Trackmasters; I've been using IRC GP 110 tires....much
better than stock in dirt, still carve corners as hard as my sportbike did,
and less than $100 for both!
3) I got the Suzuki get seat ($174 @ local dealer) recently. It is more
comfortable toward the rear directly over the gel pad, and when riding up
real close to tank. Somewhere in the area from the far rear of whats
comfortable on hiway to the far front of where you might ride in
dirt....there is a seam or something under the cover that is irritating. I
think the seat is an improvement over stock, but this seam (if its on all of
them) is sure to piss some people off more than others.

Glad you're OK & bike not badly damaged!
(Man, we are a pretty lucky crew here....on the ZX list I used to read,
after every weekend there would be at least a few people who'd had serious
wrecks!)

Subject: (dr350) Torque on brake line crush washers?
Just got my Russell Stainless steel brakeline the other day. Looks good for
$40 from Chapparall (I had a Russell SS line before for a sportbike that was
4" too long & had frayed metal sticking out from the braid).
Russell included only 4 new crush washers & no instructions! I guess I'm
supposed to use the stock banjo bolts.
Anyone know what I should torque those bolts to upon reassembly?
Thanks-

Subject: (dr350) (no DR content) Anyone know anything about the YZ250WR?
Hey guys-
Sorry for non-DR content...couldnt help myself.
I'm getting back into buying & selling bikes after a long hiatus.
Previously, I did really well making up to 60% profit or so on various
street bikes. This DR is only the 3rd non-street bike I've ever had. Never
had or ridden a full dirt bike.
Got a chance to buy a 97 Yam YZ250WR (Wide Ratio) for $3K. Little brother
to the popular WR400, more-or-less, I think. I'd want to sell it for $3500
to make it worth my while.
Anyone know if these are good bikes? Anyone know of the sales price of any
private party sales recently?
I'm really tempted to buy it just to play with while I sell it! I hear 2
strokes are completely different to the 4 strokes I've always ridden.
Thanks in advance for comments-

Bryan, Yes there is an idle adjustment on the S models also refered to as the
throttle stop screw. If you are referring to pilot screw there is one of those
also but it is plugged it is on the bottom front of the carb. Jesse

I got an aftermarket pipe here in germany. the outer-diameter is like stock, so which
Megamax exhaust will fit? Is it considerably louder than stock exhaust?
Here in Germany we have occasionaly problems with lawmen, who will measure the
noise. they keep the exhaust, if it is too loud. :-((

Do you know if they ship to germany?
What parts are inside of the kit? Only piston with rings and head-sealing or a complete
cylinder?
I've got an old, broken 385cc cylinder in my garage and i would like to use this one for
the 440cc kit.

I want to assemble the stuff myself. :-)

I won't change the cam at this time :-)
Lots of questions!
Thanks a lot for your response
