  37. Back in the early '70's, quite a few of the motorcross bikes of the day didn't have rim locks....
  38. Bultaco JP Replica is the one I had back then. They use 4 sheet metal screws on each side which screwed
  39. into the tire bead and worked really well for us back then with low tire pressures for really muddy
  40. conditions. Then just take them out of changing a tire and no hassel of the rim lock... Wonder why this
  41. can not be used today?..   I'll for sure drill my rims and try it.

  54. I have average mechanical skills and know nothing about carburaters.How
  55. hard is it to  install the scott t-handle and the jx needle kit?Does the
  56. carb have to come out?I have about 200 bucks to burn on my bike it is
  57. completely stock any suggestions?

  80. John, the t-handle is simple it takes the place of your air screw located
  81. under the carb just in front of the bowl if its an S model it is probably
  82. plugged. But you have to remove the carb to change the needle. once the carb
  83. is out you remove the cap, diaphragm then the slide the needle is in the
  84. center of the slide. tip the carb upside down under the front spigot in the
  85. center you will find the air screw hole with a plug in it if yours is an s
  86. model remove the plug, then remove the air screw and install the tee handle
  87. air screw make sure the spring under the air screw is still in place.put
  88. your new needle in the slide reassemble the carb and re install on the bike

  108. I bought a used 1993 Suzuki DR350 S with 12.500 miles on the clock
  109. from a friend of mine.
  110.  
  111. I have always been a RR Superbike kind of biker (you can check this at
  112. http://drive.to/thundersub  ) so I don't understand much about dirt
  113. bikes.

  115. I have the DR for a little over 10 months now and use it only in dirt
  116. riding.

  118. My problem is, the bike seems a little under powered (or it's just me
  119. being used to the 150 hp R1 ?) at low revs. I can barely wheelie in
  120. second gear. I have to use the clutch and even with it, most of my
  121. wheelies suck... I have even dropped one tooth in the front sprocket
  122. but that wasn't much improvement.

  124. I have heard and read a lot of different stuff about the airbox and
  125. the air filter.  My bike's engine was recently fully serviced so I
  126. know the engine is ok. I have a Twin Air dual stage air filter.

  128. So, I decided to check the airbox and found out that the first owner
  129. (the one before my friend) has done a little mod to it.

  135. top of the airbox to power at lower revs.
