ok fially im able to send mail to the list so i pop the question.
I write from iceland and i have a dr350 off road ┤99
Here we dont need spark arrestor.
as we all now the opening in the stock muffler is wery small.
has anyone cut the end off and removed the s/a and opened the end better
to, for example 1,5" or 2" for better air flow.
then of cource welded the endcap back on, and reejet the bike to 147,5 (
open airbox mods to )
this saves a 250 $ exhaust for some time at least.
please reespond .

Hi Gummi, this has been done in the states and even leaving the spark
arrester intact with reasonably good results. Then cutting the top out of
the airbox also you can jet up to maybe a 137.5 or 140 but it will be too
rich if you go any more you can tell because it will breakup on open
throttle when it is too rich. Let me know how it turns out

HI Gummi I would suggest you get both , 137.5 and 140 . this should be
pretty close. You could also move the clip on the jet needle down to the
fourth groove. I would try this with the 140 and if it is too rich you can
go back to the 137.5.

Subject: (dr) DR350 Mufflers
Hi all,
I have an opportunity to pick up, at a very good price, my choice of
two new mufflers; FMF MegaMax, or DG Krome Power RCM Muffler.
My questions are: How much louder than stock would each of them be; how
much improvement would they give; would rejetting be necessary?
Thanks, Wayne
