Wayne, I have one on my DR350 and shoud have one in about a week for my DR650. I haven't
heard complaints about Corbin's lack of quality, only their customer service. As on the
KLR list, I only use Raul Randariz, customer service manager for my orders. He is familiar
with the "modified" seat many of us like. It takes out the "dip" in the saddle so that you
don't slide into the tank. As John mentioned, Corbin gets its comfort on dual sport seats
from its width. Much wider than stock.

Kurt Simpson gave good advice! I learned early on that my '90 craves FRESH
FUEL. If that doesn't work (i e not even a cough) Try removing the spark
plug, squirt a generous amount of WD40 in the cylinder, spin the rear wheel
with the bike in top gear, install the spark plug and try again, either kick
or magic button. The DR 350 is prone to "stuck compression ring" disease.
WD40 usually fixes it.

A question for you guys,
What type of mileage (mile per gallon or km per litre) are you getting with
your dr650's?
Shayne.

Kurt (and list),
I know that Corbin makes a seat for our DRs but
do I understand right that you must have the big tank to use their
seat?

Not true. At least for the DRS 350, the Corbin will fit with either the
stock or an Acerbis tank. TW

Thanks for everyone's help. Whoever recommended laying the bike down &
picking it back up, priming & then starting was right. Fired-up on the
FIRST try!! Guess it just empties the bowl?? Anyway, always love easy
fixes.

that is what their catalog says and what Raul told me...when I get my seat I'll tell you
why. Fred Hink just sent me the IMS tank and it arrived yesterday. It is indented on the
back (seat) side to anticipate a long upsweep of a seat. So, I'm puzzled why the Corbin
would require the IMS tank if the stock seat works on both. They told me 3 weeks and that
is what it has been so maybe not too long out there.
Fred also told me that he's found a new supplier of bash plates for the DR at a better
price than the DG. Fred who makes them? I had Fred send me extra throttle and clutch
cables. They were expensive and wish motion pro would make something for them.
I emailed Ventura two days ago and asked them if they would allow me to do a product
evaluation for their pack system. No word yet.

It is the same DG skid plate from a different distributor. In fact the
original supplier has raised his prices to $114.95 I can sell them from the
second distributor at $89.95
