  36. Summary:    Buffy loses it and realises that Giles is the only one who 
  37. really knows her. Buffy/Giles             shipping and Xander/Willow shipping. 
  38. Oh, and Buffy is 17 so everything is legal.

  46. "Buffy à I à *ahem*  Ià" stammered Giles.
  47.  
  48. "Giles, if you don't want to à I'm sorry, I thoughtà"
  49.  
  50. "No, no. I thought youà"
  51.  
  52. "No" Buffy laughed.
  53.  
  54. "Oh" Giles realised. With that he preceded to remove his vest. Buffy 
  55. continued to unbutton his shirt. His torso was surprisingly toned. She 
  56. had imagined, well, a librarian'' stomach not a body builder's.
  57.  
  58. Buffy gently guided her hand against the firmness of Giles' stomach. 
  59. Giles let her fingers run through Buffy's hair and when they got to the 
  60. end they gently rested on her shoulder. He massaged her shoulders and he 
  61. could feel the tension being released. Giles' hand slipped under Buffy's 
  62. halter-top to rest on the small of her back. He drew Buffy into him and 
  63. held her in a passionate embrace. Again, their lips met, adrenaline 
  64. pumped through their veins and their tongues sought refuge in each 
  65. other's mouth. The power that they felt was unimaginable, unprecedent 
  66. and completely theirs.
  67.  
  68. The bell sounded.
  69.  
  70. "Damn!" Giles swore as he quickly left Buffy's lips.
  71.  
  72. "Huh?" Buffy said as she came for air.
  73.  
  74. "The bell went " informed Giles.
  75.  
  76. "Point?"
  77.  
  78. "That *damn* Calender woman wants to show me how to zipper files"
  79.  
  80. "Uh, zip?"
  81.  
  82. "Something to that affect" Giles replied.
  83.  
  84. It suddenly dawned on Buffy that she was going to have to leave.
  85.  
  86. "Soà" Buffy started.
  87.  
  88. "Damn Calender. Let's say 8:00pm at my place tonightà"
  89.  
  90. "And we'll continue where we left off" Buffy finished.
  91.  
  92. "It's a date" Giles confirmed before placing a gentle kiss on his 
  93. slayer's cheek. With that she turned and her blonde hair swayed as she 
  94. left the room. Giles heaved a sigh of contentment. Even if Giles thought 
  95. it would be hell trying to survive Ms. Calender's computer lesson the 
  96. thought of Buffy made things bearable.

  128. Giles sighed and removed his glasses. That Calander woman had been 
  129. exasperating - she was the epitome of what he imagined most *Ameicans* 
  130. to be. Unfortunately, he was right. Buffy however was an exception, but 
  131. then again she was exceptional.
  132.  
  133. Giles thought about Buffy. About the first time he met her - she was so 
  134. unique - so unlike any other slayer before her. Giles then reminisced 
  135. about the first time he loved. The way he felt about Buffy was so 
  136. different to the way he felt then. The way he felt about Buffy was real 
  137. and intense - a feeling of completion. Just as Giles was about to sigh 
  138. he heard a familiar voice.
  139.  
  140. "Yo, G-man. Wake up!" a far too exuberant Xander called.
  141.  
  142. "Yeah Giles, time to return from the Land of Nod" Willow chimed.
  143.  
  144. "Huh? Oh! For your information I wasn't sleeping I was, uh, 
  145. contemplating and Mr. Harris I asked you never to call me that again" 
  146. replied a not so much frustrated but tired watcher.
  147.  
  148. "Roger that - oh, and stick to Xander"
  149.  
  150. "Where's Buf?" inquired Willow to try and ease the tension of the verbal 
  151. sparring match that had begun between her best friend and her mentor.
  152.  
  153. "She's not with you?" replied Giles - surprised.
  154.  
  155. "Do you think we'd ask if she was" Xander said coolly. Giles just 
  156. stared.
  157.  
  158. "We'll check her abode. She's probably just there" Willow again tried to 
  159. spare a war of words. Willow tugged at Xander's arm and led him out of 
  160. the library.
  161.  
  162. "Such strange children" Giles uttered out loud, and with that he turned 
  163. and returned to his office.
