  30. AUTHOR'S NOTE:  This was just a thought I had one day.  Because Buffy has to
  31. deal with stuff, most people don't think exist(right they don't, come on now
  32. for my own mentalness, they don't!) What about when she has to face real
  33. stuff, like real diseases, like AIDS.  I don't know why I thought of this, but
  34. oh well I did.

  38. SUMMARY: I don't know how to write one to this, so read.......it's about Buffy
  39. and Angel for those of you who it matters too.
  40. SPOILERS: None at the moment.
  41. TIME LINE: After S/I
  42. IMPORTANT: Angel IS good in my story, he does has soul, and the curse can't be
  43. broken this time.

  49. Life's A Bitch

  53.     When Buffy woke up, Angel was gone.  In the spot where he was just a few
  54. hours ago, was a streak of sunlight and a note.  Buffy smiled to herself.
  55. *Thank God he's ok, I don't know if I could handle losing him again.*  Buffy
  56. read the note and got up to get in the shower.  
  57.  
  58.     After she got out of the shower, and got dressed, she decided to walk to
  59. Angel's, she just had to see him, and sense it was summer, there was no
  60. school.
  61.  
  62.     For some odd reason, Buffy felt weaker than normal.  *I didn't feel like this
  63. last time, maybe it's because it lasted longer, I'll have to talk to Giles,
  64. just leave out the sex part.*  The thought of talking to Giles about sex, gave
  65. her chills.  *Anybody that old shoudn't have sex.  Wait a
  66. minute............except for speacil cases like Angel, or when she gets that
  67. old.  If she got that old.*  Buffy always hated it when that thought came in
  68. her head.  She wasn't gonna be able to grow old, and have kids, and die an old
  69. lady in her warm bed.  She wasn't that lucky, nooooo she had to have a birth
  70. right.  But if it wasn't for that birth right, there would be no Angel.
  71. Angel, a good thought.  In her words "The one freaky thing in my one freaky
  72. world, that still makes sense to me."  She loved him more than she thought
  73. possible.  A slayer and a vampire, now throw that one at Shakespear.  Two
  74. families who didn't want their kids to be together, how about being born
  75. enemies by nature, and having no other choice, no way to make ammends.  *Oh
  76. well, at least we've had a little, which is better than none.*
  77.  
  78.     As Buffy thought, she eventually made it to Angel's apartment.  She knocked
  79. on the door slowly.  She still couldn't believe what happened did.
  80.  
  81.     Angel opened the door and saw her standing there, and smiled.

  83.     "Hey,"  Buffy said first, a little nervous but not by much.
  84.  
  85.     "Hey,"  Angel said back.
  86.  
  87.     Before either could get in anymore words, Angel's phone rang.  He went to go
  88. answer it, Buffy followed
  89.  
  90.     "Hello," Angel spoke into the phone.
  91.  
  92.     "Hi, Angel, this is Giles.  I called Buffy's house and she wasn't there, I'm
  93. guessing she's with you?" Giles spoke.
  94.  
  95.     "Yeah she's hear, why?" 
  96.  
  97.     "Well, cause I found a really odd saying in one of my books."
  98.  
  99.     "Yeah what is it?"
  100.  
  101.     "Well, it......uh.....says, that for if the slayer is by in anyway, not a
  102. virgin, under the next full moon, she will, ummm.......lose all her strength
  103. for the next 7 days and 7 nights.  And sense I know, well.....you know, this
  104. applies to Buffy, and I thought she should be warned."
  105.  
  106.     "Ok, Giles. Thanks, by the way when is the next full moon?"
  107.  
  108.     "Tomorrow night, I'm afraid."
  109.  
  110.     "Well, ok, I'll tell Buffy then."
  111.  
  112.     Angel hung up the phone and looked at Buffy.  How was he going to explain
  113. this to her?

  160. Fan-Fic stuff decided to do something weird with my Inner Demons file 
  161. and now, I can't access it at all.

  190. Author's note:  Okay, I know it's not the best story in the world.  I did
  191. this on a quickie, throwing a whole bunch of stuff.  So, Cordy comes out
  192. a little ditzy, I know she's a smart girl, I just had to use her usual
  193. complaints.  The last line was added for a funny, and hopefully everyone
  194. will remember that line from an episode that I forgot the name of.  To
  195. make a long story short, this contains spoilers.

  199. Cordelia's Mind

  202. Okay, I'm jealous.  I admit it, but what girlfriend wouldn't be?  I don't
  203. know why I put up with it, and sometimes I wonder if I really, *really*
  204. like him at all.  Half the time I want to kill him and the other half
  205. kiss him.  The guy may be a dork, but I have to say he knows how to kiss.
  206.  
  207.     I don't see why he has this obsession over the slayer, anyway! 
  208. The girl's a nutcase and she's totally in love with a vampire. 
  209. Admittably, Angel is cute, but the blood-sucking bit is a real turn-off. 
  210.  
  211.     Who does he think he is anyway?  Always rambling on about Buffy
  212. this, Buffy that.  Who does he think he is, Buffy's White Knight?  God,
  213. the girl can break him in half if she wanted to, what can he do for her? 
  214. And when I'm in a crisis, what does he do?  Call Buffy.  My boyfriend is
  215. a wimp...but he's so sweet and cute and so nice sometimes.  Hmm...
  216.     Then there's his long-time best friend Willow.  If it's not Buffy
  217. this, Buffy that, it's her.  I don't know if he'll ever face the fact
  218. that Willow's dating Oz, who isn't the greatest catch kind of on the
  219. short side, but he and Willow are a cute a couple.  
  220.     Everyone thinks that I have a selfish complex, I don't!  I
  221. *really* don't!  I think about other people, all the time!  Like
  222. yesterday, I helped Xander get the start of a new wardrobe.  Do you think
  223. I want to have a boyfriend that isn't color-coordinated?  Please.  And
  224. the day before, I was giving Buffy tips to get rid of that thing on her
  225. face.  You know, that thing?  Why is it that I'm the only one that's
  226. noticed it?  After all it's right there!  No one can miss it...
  227.     God, thought Cordelia's brain, my job sucks.

  265.     "So you're saying, that after tomorrow night, for the next 7 days, I'll be
  266. just as weak as a normal teenager?" Buffy asked.

  268.     "Yeah, I guess that's what I'm saying.  Which means Buffy, DON'T get yourself
  269. in any trouble, if the other vampires know about this, they will certainly be
  270. out after you." Angel warned her, concern showing very clearly in his eyes,
  271. for her.
  272.  
  273.     "Oh yippi.  So in other words I'm stuck staying in for the next week, huh?"
  274.  
  275.     "No not exactly, if I'm there, it would be ok, but most likely it would be
  276. easier if you just stay in side."
  277.  
  278.     "No Bronze?"
  279.  
  280.     "No Bronze." Angel stated for her.
  281.  
  282.     "Man, my social life is already bad enough that I'm dating 242-year-old, but
  283. now, I can't even go out at night!" Buffy said and smiled up at Angel,"So what
  284. am I gonna due for the next week? My mom's gone, remember?"
  285.  
  286.     "Oh yeah, well you could always stay with me.  I would feel better if you
  287. were here." Angel said to her leaning closer.
  288.  
  289.     "I was hoping you would say that, sooooooo let me go home and get some close
  290. and stuff, ok?"
  291.  
  292.     "Yeah, that's fine with me." Angel said, and leaned down, and gave her a kiss
  293. on the lips.
  294.  
  295.     "Ok, then I'll be back BEFORE sundown, don't wanna push my luck." Buffy said
  296. and walked out the door.
  297.                                  *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
  298.     Buffy left her house a little later than planned, but she got to Angel's on
  299. time.  *This is gonna be one weird week!  I mean I'm so use to having my
  300. strength, I don't know how, I'm gonna be without it. Oh well, I get to be with
  301. Angel for a week, a plus side to this bad note.*
  302.  
  303.     The night went on, and Buffy didn't leave Angel's house, she said she
  304. wouldn't, why he made a trip to the hospital.  While she was gone, Buffy was
  305. laying in Angel's bed listening to music on her headphones, when she heard the
  306. door open, she figured it was Angel, so she went out into the living room, to
  307. see him.  When she got out there, there was guy with a mask on.  He was about
  308. 5'10, Buffy guessed.
  309.  
  310.     The guy saw Buffy and went over to her with his gun pointing at her.  Buffy
  311. started to get really scared, she couldn't fight, she couldn't do anything.
  312. She was the normal teenager, she always wanted to be.
  313.  
  314.     The events that happened next, were all a blur to Buffy.  She remembered
  315. trying to fight him off.  After she lost that, he pinned her down, and then
  316. pinned her body down with his body.  He raped her, and the whole time, Buffy
  317. was praying Angel would hurry up and come back. The guy left, before Angel
  318. ever came back.  
  319.  
  320.     When Angel came down the stairs to his apartment, the door was wide open.
  321. When he walked in, he found Buffy, on the floor, curled up in a ball crying,
  322. with her clothes torn off.
  323.  
  324.     "Buffy, God, what happened?" Angel screamed out, and ran to her side,
  325. dropping the blood in his hands on the floor. "Buffy, what happened?" he asked
  326. again.
  327.  
  328.     "Some guy .......broke in here....and......he....r-r-r-raped me."
  329.  
  330.     That's what broke Angel.  He couldn't stop crying. "God Buffy, I'm so sorry I
  331. didn't get here sooner."
  332.  
  333.     "It's not your fault."
  334.  
  335.     Angel picked Buffy up, and put her in his bed, and covered her up.  Then he
  336. got in bed next to her, and held her, and once she fell asleep, he got up, and
  337. cleaned up the mess in his apartment, put the blood in the fridge, and shut
  338. the door and locked it.  After he did all that, he went back in his room, got
  339. ready for bed, and curled up next to Buffy, and went to sleep.
