  21.     Write some fic where JOyce gets a clue abvout whats going on with
  22. buffy.  I would do this myself but I am an engineering student and my
  23. writing skills are abominable.  I would send my fics to the list only as
  24. perfect examples of what not to do.  But anyway anyone out there whose
  25. tired of joyce being so dense.  Write something where she actually grows a
  26. brain

  46. SUMMARY: Angel is Angelus and has killed Ms. Calendar. Pretty much, this just
  47. shows how strong AngelÆs and BuffyÆs love is. Oh, and this isnÆt your regular
  48. restoration story. This gets sad, so if you are not into that kind of thing,
  49. donÆt read it.

  56. Star-CrossÆd Lovers (0/?) Prologue
  57.  
  58.     "WhatÆs this?" Willow asked herself. It was late at night, almost so late
  59. that it was early morning. Yesterday, when subbing for the new computer
  60. teacher, sheÆd found a yellow disk of Ms. Calendars stuck behind the desk. She
  61. had finally gotten to look at it.
  62.     "The Restoration Ceromony?" she asked aloud. As she read through it she
  63. noticed it kept refering to a vampireÆs soul. //Angel? Was she going to save
  64. Angel?// It all made sense now: why she had stayed late, why the computer was
  65. trashed, why she was dead in the school. 
  66.     She quickly called Giles to tell him the big news. The phone rang four times
  67. when Buffy finally picked up. "Hello?" she asked, her voice unsteady.
  68.     "Hey, Buffy, I have some big news for you! Can I talk to Giles for a sec?"
  69.     There was a dead silence and then crying. "Buffy?" XanderÆs voice suddenly
  70. came on the phone.
  71.     "Will, Giles, Giles was murdered by Angel. We just came to the house and
  72. found him. Can you run over here?"
  73.     The phone came loose from WillowÆs hand and fell to the floor. "NO!" she
  74. screamed. "ITÆS NOT TRUE."
  75.     Her parents not being home, she ran as fast as she could to GilesÆs. The trip
  76. seemed to take forever, though it was only a few minutes. Wild and dreary
  77. thoughts flew in and out her mind. All in all, she truly believed that they
  78. were lying to her.
  79.     "Willow!" Cordelia shouted from outside the house. Willow quickly ran inside
  80. to find GilesÆs mutilated corpse on the floor. Next to it was a note for
  81. Buffy, "Three down, five to go. See ya æround, lover."
  82.     "No, no, no!" she cried. Tears flooded her face and her hands. Xander quickly
  83. embraced her. They stayed that way for an eternity, or at least it felt like
  84. that. 
  85.     "WhereÆs Buffy?" she finally spoke. 
  86.       "SheÆs gathering some of Giles things upstairs," Xander answered.
  87.       Quietly, Buffy stepped down the stairs with her mother in her arms,"HeÆs
  88. going to kill us. HeÆs going to kill us all."
