Hi All
Listening to the Savia Andina CD I got interested in:
Oracion del Mitayo
Lamento Indio
Started to work the first one out on quena, seems to be going OK
but I=27m not sure I have it right as the recording is somewhat
sharper than standard pitch. I think it starts something like:
E2 C2 D2 E2 D2 C2 C3 A3, C2 D2 E2 D2 C2 D2,
A2 B2 C2 A2 G2 A2, C1 D1 E1 D1 C1 D1 A1
Numbers refer to quena octaves.
Does anyone know if this looks right?
Anyone already have scores for these tunes?
Anything happening on this list, I hear nothing for a long time???
Regards

Does anybody know of this group? Does anyone know how to get a hold of
them? Someone wrote me asking for information:
"I am looking for a duo of Ecuadorian musicians who go by the title of
'Mashicuna' "
Thanks,
Jeff Mahrer
