  1. NAI (McAfee) (Total Virus Defence) VirusScan/Virex updates/upgrades

  4. This directory contains update material from the NAI McAfee public
  5. (unrestricted) servers.  It is covered by the NAI legal notice in the
  6. file Usage.txt.

  8. The directories

  10.     virusdefs/4.x
  11.     virusdefs/mac/virex

  13. are mirrors of the corresponding directories on the McAfee sites.
  14. They can be used as
  15.     -- sources for the AutoUpdate tool
  16.     -- alternative sources for the Mirror utility (e.g. to maintain
  17.         a departmental mirror).
