  1. DNA.SLI
  2.  
  3. This is a slide file for use with DESK TOP MOLECULAR MODELLER version 2.0,
  4. though it may also work with versions 1.0 and 1.2.  It portrays bases, 
  5. nucleosides and nucleotides and DNA in an animation that builds up to a 
  6. full turning helix.  Use red/green glasses (supplied with DTMM) to see 
  7. the stereo views at the end of the animation.  It has been used at 
  8. exhibits by the National Centre for Biotechnology Education, and at 
  9. meetings at the Science Museum.

  11. Load it as file DNA.SLI into the DTMM directory on your computer, and run 
  12. it from the UTILITIES menu.  Alternatively, DTMMSHOW, supplied with DTMM, 
  13. can be used as a separate stand-alone program.

  15. Don't forget that you can also use SLISPLIT and SLIJOIN utilities 
  16. part of DTMM version 2.0) to take apart the slide file, or to join other 
  17. structures to it (Manual pp. 74-78).
