  4. All of the excitement at the puppy orphanage makes Ann Marie feel

  6. tired.  She goes up to the attic to get some sleep.  But as she climbs

  8. up to the attic, she finds the wallet that Charlie and Itchy had stolen
  9.  
  10. from one of the people at the race track.

  13. Ann Marie looks inside the wallet and finds a picture of the man and
  14.  
  15. the nice lady she talked to at the race track.  Ann Marie is sad and a
  16.  
  17. little bit angry now that she has discovered that her best friend
  18.  
  19. Charlie is a thief.  She wishes she had some real parents like the
  20.  
  21. ones in the picture she found in the stolen wallet.
