This training scenario has been devised to acquaint you with the basics of how to control your platoon and team.\
Since this is a training run, none of the opposition will fire at you.\
The basic aim is to take your team around the training road from A to B, leaving platoons at certain places on the way.\
|Hopefully, by the end of the run you'll not only be able to shoot other tanks, but make sure that they're not on YOUR side!.\
At the start you'll find Unit 1 facing the other three platoons of Team Yankee.\
Try to identify them on your map, and on the 3d view from Unit 1.\
|Two minutes after the start there will be a 'parade' of all of the vehicles you will meet in the game, travelling from C to D on the map.\
Try to identify these vehicles using the section on Vehicle Types in your manual.\
Now, assemble your Team on the road, facing east, and try moving the Unit 1 just over the bridge.\
|When you meet the first group of trees either side of the main road, then stop.\
Looking around, you'll see four vehicles in front of you. Two are Russian and two are American. Try to identify which is which and then, when you are sure, load up a suitable weapon.\
Hitting them at point blank range should be easy.\
|Now, take your remaing three units through, round the road circuit, leaving Unit 1 behind.\
Each time you come to a point on the road straddled by two trees, stop.
Look around and you will find two sets of vehicles within range. Try to identify them and try to destroy the enemy vehicles.\
At each of these points, leave one unit behind and continue.\
|Eventually, you will have all four of your units spread over the playing area.\
Now comes the moment when you will have to learn how to control all four units simultaneously while aiming at moving targets.\
At 12:30 precisely each of your four units will be able to locate a separate enemy unit moving from cover in one forest into another.
|You must try and destroy all moving enemy targets before they dissappear.\\ If you succeed, then you will have completed the scenario, and will have graduated to the point when you'll be allowed to move onto real action!

|This is the third stop for one of your units. There will be vehicles to the north-west and south-east.\\
|This is the stop for your last unit. If you get to here then at least you know how to move your tanks!\\
|In the middle of this forest, see if you can spot a T72 on the track, and destroy it.\\
|This is a forest.\ Forests are green, and slow to traverse, although if you find a forest track you will be able to achieve a higher speed.\\
|This is a river.\ Rivers are blue, and very slow to cross.\

|Unfortunately, time has run out. You have failed to destroy all of the Soviet vehicles which were laid out on the training course.\\
Perhaps you might like to try this training run all over again before you risk your troops in the real thing.\
It might also be useful for you to read the explanation of this training scenario in the manual, just in case you have missed anything.\

American vehicles are rather precious, and you seem to have a great capacity for destroying them rather than the opposition.\
We can hardly recommend that you go into the front line, when you seem just as capable of destroying American equipment as a crack Soviet regiment!\
|Congratulations! You have passed this training run with flying colors.\
You are now recommended to go into full front line service with all due haste.\
If you can perform as well in battle, then you'll be able to teach quite a lot to some of our veteran campaigners.\

|This is outrageous! All of the vehicles you have destroyed are worth millions of dollars. You have single handedly wiped out a platoon's worth of Team Yankee's strength.\
If I was you, I'd turn your machine off, and go and hide somewhere for a very, very long time!\
