  45. drawn originally with pencils on 8 1/2 by 11 inch cardstock, scanned
  46. into the computer through a fax modem, and colored on-screen.  In
  47. many cases the originals contain nuances of detail that aren't
  48. apparent in the final product.  Some of these collectible sketches,
