  8. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  9. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  10. agreement signed by Game Tool Technologies, your use of this
  11. software you indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  12. and warranty.

  14. Shareware Version

  16. Evaluation and Registration

  18. NetTools is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  19. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 60
  20. days.  If you use this software after the 60 day evaluation period
  21. a registration fee of $10 is required.  Payments must be in US
  22. dollars drawn on a US bank, and should be sent to Terry N. Goldman,
  23.  P.O. Box 3698, Carmel, California 93921  Quantity discounts are available,

  27. Unregistered use of  NetTools after the 60-day evaluation period is
  28. in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

  30. Distribution

  32. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  33. Version ( you are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the 
  34. Shareware version of this software and documentation as you wish;
  35. give exact copies of the original Shareware version to anyone; and 
  36. distribute the Shareware version of the software and documentation in its
  37. unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any
  38. of the above.

  40. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  41. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  42. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
  43. (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission, with
  44. one exception:  Disk Vendors approved by the Association of
  45. Shareware Professionals are permitted to redistribute NetTools,
  46. subject to the conditions in this license, without specific
  47. written permission.

  51. One registered copy of NetTools may either be used by a single
  52. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  53. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  54. multiple people, but not both.

  56. You may access the registered version of NetTools through a network,
  57. provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the software
  58. covering all workstations that will access the software through the 
  59. network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations will access NetTools
  60. on the network, each workstation must have its own NetTools license, 
  61. regardless of whether they use NetTools at different times or concurrently.

  63. Governing Law

  65. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  66. California.

  68. Disclaimer of Warranty

  70. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  71. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  72. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Because of the 
  73. various hardware and software environments into which NetTools may
  74. be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS
  75. OFFERED.

  77. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  78. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  79. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  80. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  81. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.
