> Necros on the keys:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi there. :) My name is Necros, and i'm from the group Five Musicians.
My real name is Andy Sega, and i'm from the wonderful (?) state of New York
in the USA. I've been into this tracking drivel for about 3 years now,
I first started out after hearing some Amiga tunes (.MOD) and wondering
how people did that ... then i discovered FastTracker, and then
ScreamTracker, and then really started making weird stuff :)
I've had about 12 years of piano and keyboard experience, which i think
helps me a lot with my tracking style, and makes it a bit easier to
get the effects that i desire in a tracker. My style also varies all
over the place, I like to do everything from jazz to techno to rock and
back again.... although i try to avoid the typical (cheesy) styles..
sometimes i can't help it though :) Right now i'm in the group FM (Five
Musicians), composed of me, Mellow-D, Vic/Acme, Stalker/OTM, and BigJim of
Valhalla. We intend to release high-quality tracked music, free of charge,
as a way to spread musical ideas all around the globe. For more information
on us, see the FM.NFO file included in our releases. I'm also in the
demo group Legend Design.. the best demo with my music in it is probably
"Just Art", which came 2nd place at the Wired'95 demo competition. Also
another group of mine, the Psychic Monks, did a very strange demo for
Naid'95 called 'Eden' .. it isn't really a demo per se, but more a mood-
setting piece of art (which is what demos SHOULD be, polygons suck)... so
check it out if you like...
Anyways, sit back and enjoy the tunes. Personally i would start with the
Progression musicdisk, it's probably the best and most diverse stuff i've
done, but the other tunes are good as well. If you want to contact me,
you can mail me at necros@axs.net anytime.... if you want a long reply,
at least write something interesting though :) I especially like
detailed critiques of my tunes, it helps me write better.. not just the
normal 'HI I LIKE YOUR MOD WHERE ARE MORE CAN YOU PLEASE WRITE BACK'
letters :)
Cheers, and FM in 1996! :)
Andy
