ScreenZap
This is a little utility to clean away screens that are lost by ill-
behaving programs. It will kill every screen behind the WorkBench, noting
how many it gets. The screens in front of WB are not affected. This will
give you every byte of precious chip ram back, and clean the display.
So, to use this, place every screen you want to get rid of behind the
WB, then either click its icon or type ScreenZap. It will open a little
window with a close gadget, giving an opportunity to abort the operation.
If you click in the close gadget, it will abort, if you click in the window,
it will proceed. On the WB, it'll ask you to hit return to exit, this to keep
the status window on screen, otherwise it would close immediately.
Two words of warning: If a program tries to output to a screen that has
been stolen, the system dies immediately.
This utility is dangerous and may crash you machine. We'll take absolutely
no responsibility for what it'll do!
Be sure to have a look at the source, it's truely a nice little piece of
code. (I did not write it, my brother Lars did).
Enjoy,
Henrik Clausen
