- Master Disk and User Disk description:
- --------------------------------------
-
- The "A-Render v.3 <Master Disk>" disk is the disk that you are allowed to
- distribute (according to the rules in the file SHAREWARE_INFO.DOC).
- The "A-Render v.3 <User Disk>" disk is a disk you create from the
- <Master Disk> to use A-Render or to go through the tutorial.
-
- DO NOT distribute copies of the <User Disk>. Distribute ONLY copies of
- the "A-Render v.3 <Master Disk>". Be sure to keep a copy of the <Master
- Disk> in your collection for reference and in case you want to distribute
- copies of A-Render v.3 in the future.
-
-
- To make a distributable copy of the Master Disk, use the Workbench
- command 'duplicate', or the CLI command 'Diskcopy'.
- Refer to your Amiga manuals for more information on making disk copies.
- The retail Amiga 'copy' programs could also be used.
-
- Then use the 'relabel' command to name the new copy exactly as follows:
- "A-Render v.3 <Master Disk>"
- DO NOT distribute a Master Disk that is not labeled as such. Also be
- careful not to mislabel a <User Disk> as a <Master Disk>.
-
- ==========================================================================

- These install programs are for creating a <User Disk> with Workbench 1.2.

- Making a User Disk:

- Floppy drive users will first need to make a copy of an unmodified
- Workbench 1.2 disk (follow the directions under - Copying Workbench 1.2).
- Then follow the directions under one_drive or two_drive to create your
- user disk.
-
- Hard drive users can proceed directly to the directions under
- hard_drive.

- Copying Workbench 1.2:

-
- Use the Workbench 'duplicate' function, or use 'diskcopy' from the CLI.

-
- When the copy is complete, re-boot off of your NEW Workbench 1.2 (by
- pressing both red A's on either side of the space bar, and the CTRL key,
- all at the same time). As SOON as the screen turns blue, type CNTL-D.
- CTRL-D means hold down the CTRL button and press the 'D' key. Be ready
