  9. INSTALLATION
  10. ----------------------------------------------------------------
  11. NOTE: THIS VERSION IS FOR PALM OS 3.5 ONLY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO 
  12. INSTALL ON DEVICES WITH OS VERSIONS PRIOR TO THIS.
  13.  
  14. To install Sketcher, double-click the zipped distribution file 
  15. to open it. Then click the Install button on the WinZip(tm)
  16. toolbar or double-click the Setup.exe file and follow the 
  17. instructions.

  20. USING SKETCHER
  21. ----------------------------------------------------------------
  22. For complete details on using Sketcher, please refer to the user
  23. guide (Sketcher.pdf) included in the zipped distribution file. 
  24. Adobe Acrobat is required to view the manual. You will find a 
  25. link to download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free on our web site's
  26. documentation page at:

  34. QUICK START NOTES:
  35.  
  36. - For a reference to button functions, tap the "?" button near 
  37. the lower right corner of Sketcher's main screen. Additional 
  38. tips are available by tapping the "i" in the upper right corner
  39. of the screen.

  41. - Choose any of several background images from the INSERT menu. 
  42.  
  43. - To erase, select the current background color. Select white if
  44. no background is used.
  45.  
  46. -To set any background color, first choose a draw color, then 
  47. select "Chalkboard" from the INSERT menu.
  48.  
  49. - A single graffiti shift stroke activates fine line mode. The 
  50. graffiti shift indicator displayed in the lower right corner of
  51. the main view will appear as a solid arrow when fine line mode 
  52. is active. (Note: Fine lines may appear to "break up" on high-
  53. resolution displays such as some Sony Clie' models. Disabling 
  54. "Hi-Res assist" for this application will compensate for this 
  55. condition. This setting, if equipped, may be found under your 
  56. device's preference settings.)
  57.  
  58. - In Alarm view, tap the date/time display field at the bottom 
  59. of the screen to set the alarm date and time. When this time is 
  60. reached, your handheld will automatically power on, launch
  61. Sketcher, sound the alarm, and display the assigned image.
  62.  
  63. - The list view shows all records including title, date created,
  64. and alarm setting. Tap any record in the list view to directly 
  65. access that record in the main view. From the main view, tap the
  66. FAVORITE button to add the current record to the 'Favorites' 
  67. list. To access the Favorites list, tap the 'heart' icon at the
  68. top of the list view.
