INSTALLATION
----------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: THIS VERSION IS FOR PALM OS 3.5 ONLY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO 
INSTALL ON DEVICES WITH OS VERSIONS PRIOR TO THIS.

To install Sketcher, double-click the zipped distribution file 
to open it. Then click the Install button on the WinZip(tm)
toolbar or double-click the Setup.exe file and follow the 
instructions.

USING SKETCHER
----------------------------------------------------------------
For complete details on using Sketcher, please refer to the user
guide (Sketcher.pdf) included in the zipped distribution file. 
Adobe Acrobat is required to view the manual. You will find a 
link to download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free on our web site's
documentation page at:

 www.palmettologic.com/documentation.html

A high quality Microsoft Word version of the user guide is also 
available for downloading free from the same web page.


QUICK START NOTES:

- For a reference to button functions, tap the "?" button near 
the lower right corner of Sketcher's main screen. Additional 
tips are available by tapping the "i" in the upper right corner
of the screen.

- Choose any of several background images from the INSERT menu. 

- To erase, select the current background color. Select white if
no background is used.

-To set any background color, first choose a draw color, then 
select "Chalkboard" from the INSERT menu.

- A single graffiti shift stroke activates fine line mode. The 
graffiti shift indicator displayed in the lower right corner of
the main view will appear as a solid arrow when fine line mode 
is active. (Note: Fine lines may appear to "break up" on high-
resolution displays such as some Sony Clie' models. Disabling 
"Hi-Res assist" for this application will compensate for this 
condition. This setting, if equipped, may be found under your 
device's preference settings.)

- In Alarm view, tap the date/time display field at the bottom 
of the screen to set the alarm date and time. When this time is 
reached, your handheld will automatically power on, launch
Sketcher, sound the alarm, and display the assigned image.

- The list view shows all records including title, date created,
and alarm setting. Tap any record in the list view to directly 
access that record in the main view. From the main view, tap the
FAVORITE button to add the current record to the 'Favorites' 
list. To access the Favorites list, tap the 'heart' icon at the
top of the list view.
