  1. AUTHOR:John Beloff
  2. CATEGORY:psi
  3. COMMENT:An accessible history of psychical research from the point of view of a prominent and thoughtful proponent.  Beloff is relatively cautious and non-polemical, and except for an irritating tendency to pronounce that deeply flawed experiments establish the existence of real psychic anomalies, there is little in his writing which skeptics will complain about.  In the end, this is a very useful book for skeptics.
