1. AUTHOR:James Randi (The Amazing Randi)
2. CATEGORY:psi
3. COMMENT:Somewhat updated and revised edition of The Magic of Uri Geller, 1975. A classic debunking of a psychic superstar who had many supporters among scientists as well as the public at large. Even though the events recounted are decades old, they do contain valuable information, especially as physical scientists have historically been prone to being deceived by conjuring tricks when investigating the paranormal, as the historical material in the book also hints at. A good read, and an amazing document of credulity.
