COMMENT:Evolution seems to be endlessly controversial in America. Webb traces the history of the public controversy, especially in its educational and legal aspects. The book is informative, but it sometimes loses the overall picture among the many details, so it can be difficult reading. A good reference for the historical context of the creation/evolution wars.
