COMMENT:A Biblical theological argument against <a href="/bib/267">ICR</a>-style creationists. Bailey's Genesis ends up as a story telling us what God did, but very little else. For example, he argues the Bible declares God created the world, but says nothing about the details, even if it was creation ex nihilo. The moral message takes center stage while claims about the world fade away. This result, however, is a bit too convenient, and creationists will justifiably wonder whether Bailey attenuates the claims of the Bible so much that it no longer makes sense to say it reveals a Creator-God.
