COMMENT:Ham's attack on evolution is driven by his perceptions of moral decay, of a society ignoring Biblical Absolutes once taken for granted. He argues the reason for this decay is that Christians have begun to ignore their foundation: a literal belief in Genesis, which sets the stage for everything else, including Jesus's mission of salvation. Without this foundation, evolutionists take over with their desire to avoid acknowledging God's absolute rules. As an argument, the book is laughable, but then Ham believes our foundational commitments determine everything else anyway. The book gives insight into the <em>fears</em> of some extreme cultural conservatives attracted to creationism.
