  5.     ULTRADECK is a powerful but user friendly program used to manage a deck 
  6. or collection of cards.  It is also very useful when it comes to planning 
  7. overall strategy, finding the right cards to add to a deck, trading with 
  8. other collectors and generally enjoying the game.  Please take the time to
  9. register this program if you use and enjoy it.  It is not crippled and is
  10. not just a demo.

  12. TO START:
  13.     ultdeck <optional ".tek" filename>
  14.     
  15.     Load "SMARTDRV.EXE" for optimal performance.  Usually just type:
  16. "lh smartdrv" from the DOS prompt.
  17.  
  18. RUNNING UNDER WINDOWS: 
  19.     You can run ULTRADECK in Windows{tm} either full screen or in a DOS box.  
  20. The ".pif" file included with the program runs it in a window.  MODIFY the 
  21. ".cfg" file as indicated within it if you plan on running ULTRADECK in a 
  22. window.  You can do this with a text editor: "edit ultdeck.cfg".  
  23. NOTE: the mouse WILL work when running in a window in Windows.

  25. UPDATE to ".tek" TExt decK format:
  26.     dck-tek <deck to convert filename>
  27.  
  28. TEXT DATA FILES, you can edit these with a text editor:
  29.     "ultdeck.cfg" - list of configuration settings
  30.     "*.lst"       - lists of color configuration settings
  31.     "*.tek"       - your "deck" or collection files (auto loads data)
  32.                     Try editing one!
  33.  
  34. UPDATING YOUR SYSTEM FOR NEW CARDS:
  35.     New updates will be available FREE a few weeks after the release of new
  36. card printings.  See the section in "udckdoc.txt".  For me to keep supporting
  37. this constantly expanding game I need your support.
