  3.                Making Money with Industrial Prose & Magic

  6. Industrial Prose & Magic is the world's first commercial MUD system. We
  7. would like to see the creation of a whole new MUD industry that will
  8. allow people like you and me to make a living by creating imaginary
  9. interactive worlds. Maybe we'll call each other "fantasists".
  10.                                                   
  11. There are currently three ways that you can earn a second income with
  12. Industrial Prose & Magic: (1) by running a subscription-based MUD, (2)
  13. by participating in our referral program, and (3) by desigining pre-
  14. made worlds for our new line of IP&M add-on modules.
  15.                                                   
  16. The first method is fairly straightforward. The second and third require
  17. some explaining.
  18.                                                   
  19. Throughout 1994 and 1995 (and beyond, if it goes well) we have a
  20. referral program for our customers. If you have purchased IP&M, and a
  21. new customer identifies you specifically as deserving credit for the
  22. sale, we will pay you a $50 referral fee. This means that you should add
  23. some login information to your system that describes what IP&M is, where
  24. they can get more info on it, and that they should mention you by name
  25. when purchasing it. (Note: Continuum Software is handling the referral
  26. program for the US and Canada. Our international distributors are
  27. handling it in their respective territories).

  29. Second, we are beginning to publish a series of pre-made IP&M worlds for
  30. sysops that don't want to start from scratch. We are currently accepting
  31. freelance submissions from our customers.  We will pay extremely high
  32. royalties to talented fantasists. See SUBMIT.TXT for guidelines.
