  95. ABOUT CHECKMATE PLUS

  97. CheckMate Plus is a full-featured, easy to use, checkbook-based
  98. accounting package.  It is a REAL accounting package, with REAL
  99. double-entry transactions.  Unlike packages such as Quicken, you
  100. can produce true balance sheets and income statements as well as
  101. numerous budgeting and graphical reports.

  103. CheckMate Plus is SHAREWARE, which means you are free to copy the
  104. ORIGINAL distribution disk (or file, if you got it from a BBS)
  105. and share it with whoever you please.  If you find CheckMate Plus
  106. to be useful and you use it beyond a reasonable evaluation
  107. period, we expect you to REGISTER your copy.

  110. HOW TO EVALUATE CHECKMATE PLUS

  112. CheckMate Plus is intuitive, easy to use, and has extensive
  113. on-line help.  It is quite sophisticated, however, and you'll
  114. need the User's Guide to fully exploit its power.

  116. CheckMate Plus comes with a "disk-based" Introductory User's
  117. Guide to aid you in evaluation.  The Introductory User's Guide is
  118. quite large (150 pages).

  120. If you got CheckMate Plus from a shareware vendor, you should have
  121. received the documentation disk as part of the package.  If you
  122. downloaded CheckMate Plus from a BBS, the documentation file should
  123. have been included in the download.  When you register, you'll receive
