  1. Welcome!

  3. Thank You for downloading this file and having an interest in the combined
  4. comic message networks of 4ColorNet and Comic Book Net. 
  5. 4ColorNet and The Comic Book Net are a group of Bulletin Board Systems 
  6. (BBS's) that recently merged to create ONE LARGE net instead of two
  7. smaller ones as we felt that in doing so both networks would greatly 
  8. expand and would make it even easier for comics fans to find us and 
  9. participate in the conversations.

  11. Joining 4ColorNet/Comic Book Net is pretty painless!
  12.  
  13. 1- Just read the guidelines. (RULZ.DOC)
  14. 2- Fill out the application (4CNCBN.APP) and call the HUB of your choosing, 
  15.    (see 4CNCBN.LST) and upload the appliction.  
  16.    We offer both FIDO mail transfers as well as .QWK style, the method you    
  17.    use is up to you, what ever is most convienient. Some BBSes offer only 
  18.    FIDO _or_ .QWK but there are plenty that have both as a means for you to 
  19.    transfer mail. The boards that have a  FTN=YES  in their entry are able 
  20.    to provide you with a FIDO hookup, a  FTN=NO means it is .QWK style.
  21. 3- You may find yourself linked up with a CBN node.. This is fine. While
  22.    there are subtle differences in the two nets, it is for all effects 
  23.    and purposes ONE net. This will be remedied once an elected group of
  24.    Net Administrators is chosen.
  25. 4- You will be informed via E-Mail as to your acceptance/denial within 7 
  26.    days after receipt of the application.
