  8. Take with a large pinch of salt.  This is supposed to be humor OK.

  10. Background:
  11.  
  12. Clan Hollywood are a small clan that is confined to a few tiny
  13. geographical locations.  Their largest enclave is an island of
  14. insanity in the Anarch freestates.  They originally came from a
  15. desolate pat of southern England but have since relocated lock-stock
  16. and clan holdings.
  17. The clan is not part of the Camarilla and does not follow the
  18. masquerade.  They are cautious however and do not reveal themselves to
  19. mortals unless there is a fast buck to be made.  They consider the
  20. Camarilla to be restrictive and filled with cowards and whiners.
  21. The clan is hostile to the Sabbat and neutral to the anarchs, whom
  22. they consider trendy teen-brats.
  23. The clan are a diverse group and rarely ever meet.  Despite this they
  24. have a strange sort of unconscious desire to gather together.  They
  25. decline to comment on what might be the reason for this.  Occasionally
  26. they will help each other and are somewhat similar to the Gangrel
  27. loners in this respect.

  29. Humanity:

  31. The clan member often have no humanity and can follow 'Sabbat' paths
  32. and also create their own paths.
  33.  
  34. Clan Disciplines:

  36. Protean, Potence, Dominate

  38. Clan Weakness:
  39.  
  40. Whenever a member of clan Hollywood feeds it always mixes its blood
  41. with that of its victims.  The clan members cannot control their blood
  42. properly in this respect and it leaks out into those they feed on.
  43. Even those mortals who do not die immediately are affected (such as
  44. those who die from anaemia a few hours later).  For rules purposes any
  45. mortal fed upon by a Hollywood has of their blood points replaced with
  46. one vampiric blood point.  The Hollywooders cannot drain this last
  47. blood point either.  If the victim lives they are a ghoul.  If they
  48. die while the blood is still in their system then they will become a
  49. vampire.  If a mortal has no 'human' blood points left (i.e. only the
  50. vampire blood point) then she is dead for the purposes of this rule.

  52. The clan members are usually careful to feed at least three times on
  53. any victim to ensure that they are blood bound.
  54.  
  55. Usually they will try not to drain humans to death.  Those they do
  56. drain that they do not want to become vampires they dismember.  Often
  57. their victims enter a temporary torpor and are mistakenly buried
  58. alive.  As a reslut many of the clan members have no humanity.
  59.  
  60. Sometimes members of this clan have weaknesses found inother clans
  61. too.  This seems to happen when they learn new disciplines that are
  62. normally associated with that clan.  For instance a Hollwooder with
  63. Obtenebration might well be invisible in mirrors.

  68. The Path of Lost Loves
  69. ----------------------

  71. The path of lost loves is about dealing with lost humanity and fniding
  72. new depths of slef pity to wallow in whenever possible.
  73.  
  74. Please note that references to sex assume that the vampire is of
  75. heterosexual persuasion.  This is not meant to discriminate against
  76. homosexual Hollywooders.
  77.  
  78. Risks:
  79. 10      Failing to pursue the object of your affections even though it
  80.         is certain death.
  81.  
  82. 9       Feeding on a person of the same sex (i.e. not realising that
  83.         persons of the opposite sex are more like their lost love and
  84.         therefore ought to be vampires.
  85.  
  86. 8       Failing to pursue the object of your affections even though
  87.         your life is in serious danger - such as fire or imminent sunrise.
  88.         
  89. 7       Failing to pursue the object of your affections even though it
  90.         may be hazardous or you are low on blood.
  91.  
  92. 6       Taking proper precautions against hunters.  See below.
  93.  
  94. 5       Not toying with a hunter.  Nothing can stop your fated reunion
  95.         with your lost love, least of all hunters.
  96.  
  97. 4       Failing to stare mournfully at photographs of other
  98.         people's loved ones.
  99.  
  100. 3       Failing to be obsessed with at least one person you believe is the
  101.         reincarnation of your lost love.        
  102.  
  103. 2       Failing to dress to impress any potential replacements of your
  104.         lost love.
  105.  
  106. 1       Not mentioning the tragedy of your lost love at least once an
  107.         episode.
  108.  
  109. Objectives of the path:
  110.  
  111. When you were mortal you were able to love and be loved in return.
  112. Now you are a monster and cannot be loved.  You must find your lost
  113. love and regain their affection.  Through this you will become human
  114. again, even if you die - it can be the death of a mortal if you have
  115. truly earned love.
  116.  
  117. Anything that stands in the way of this is contembtible, be it mortal
  118. hunters, other vampires, lupines or simple 'food' shortage.  Nothing
  119. can stand in the way of your fate.
  120.  
  121. You must infilict your suffering on others.  That way they can
  122. understand your misery a little.  But theirs is nothing like yours.
  123. The brief lives of mortals allow so little time for pain and misery
  124. compared to the eternity you will suffer.
  125.  
  126. You must show great pride.  Your suffering has made you strong and you
  127. have faith in your fate.  Nothing can humble you.  You must show this
  128. in how you dress and how you look after yourself.  Mirrors are bad,
  129. "they just don't reflect enough".
  130.  
  131. You should try and keep the same retainers for as long as possible.
  132. They will come to understand your misery and will serve you better as
  133. they understand the path.
  134.  
  135. You should feed on people tha most resemble your lost love, in sex, in
  136. hair colour, whatever.  the closer they are the more you should feed
  137. on them.  If they are close enough then perhaps you should make them
  138. into a vampire so you can feed off them all the time.
  139.  
  140. Mortals are all stupid,the less they resemble your lost love the more
  141. stupid they must be.  Underestimate them at all times.
