Subject: Blood & Health
The way I see, each blood sucked is one wound. This effectively means a person
who loses 7 blood is incapacitated and will die if not taken to a hospital.
This is also to proper point at which you can turn a human into a vampire.
If you suck any more they die (yes dead bodies can still have blood). For
the really gross the inverse can be used to determine how much blood is left in
the body after a really nasty attack. One of my players actually did a punch
that cause 8 points of damage. Needless to say most of the blood ended up on
the wall behind him them remaining in him. (and this was with the old combat
system).
As for healing, since I havn't seen any rules, I've been pretty happy with:
If they are at bruised they heal in 1 day
If they are hurt they go to bruised in 2 days
If they are injured they go to hurt in 4 days
If they are wounded they go to injured in 8 days
If they are mauled they go to wounded in 16 days
If they are crippled they go to mauled in 32 days
If they are incapacitated they go to crippled in 64 days
So it will take a week to fully heal from injured, 9 weeks to fully heal from
crippled, and 127 days (just over 4 months) to heal from incapacitated.
Humans just seem so mortal compaired to vampires ....
