  5.     * Updated: Not only does the Phone utility scan for "Movie" type phone
  6.                formats, it will now go into more detail into finding false
  7.                phone formats. SOME Examples: (123) 456-789, (987) 654-3210,
  8.                (111) 111-1111 (or all repeated numbers). There will be more
  9.                smaller releases of the Phone Utility containing updates to
  10.                the "false phonenumber" data base.

  12.     * Changed: Previously, the Phone utility would provide an opening
  13.                parentheses right away. It will now wait for the first
  14.                to be pressed before doing that for a better look.
  15.                
  16.     * Changed: There have been some problems with phone number EDITING in
  17.                the past. If you were to edit another users record with the
  18.                F command (in the message section) and come to the phone
  19.                prompt, you would be switched to the default PCB prompt. But
  20.                if you were to do an online registration with F6, you would
  21.                have to enter the whole phone number in again instead of
  22.                having the freedom to simple press enter and ZOOM on by.
  23.                These editing problems have been fixed. With a new feature
  24.                in PPLC 2.00 and a couple of adjustments, I have updated
  25.                the editing routines to support defaults (if there are any).
  26.     
  27.     * Changed: Since there are no "default prompts" needed anymore, they have
  28.                been removed from the PHONETXT file.
  29.                
  30.     * Fixed: Adjusted the support for multi-lingual operations. There were
  31.              some problems with the routines, and sometimes it would not
  32.              read the proper text file when in another language. Fixed.

  35.     - Added. a PHONETXT.EXE utility with the archive. This will allow you
  36.       to edit the new PHONETXT file. DATA.TXT and VOICE.TXT will no longer
  37.       be used. PHONETXT will contain both formats. Check the file PHONETXT
  38.       included with this archive for the format.
  39.     - Optimized. the code and made the program about 2k smaller. It is hard
  40.       to make a difference with PPE, the PPE is small in the first place. :)
  41.     - Added. multiple language support. The text files have been renamed from
  42.       DATA.TXT to DATA and VOICE.TXT to VOICE, allowing language extensions.
  43.     - Fixed. the phone number format. There was a simple little error in the
  44.       program that caused a big problem. If a used were to enter in the phone
  45.       number (717) 555-0460 (assuming the program didn't recognize the 555),
  46.       the program would send it to PCBoard as (717)555-460.
  47.     - Added. a local notice when the program goes into normal editing mode.
  48.       This notice will only be displayed on the local end, to prevent
  49.       confusion on why the program is in normal mode.
  50.     - Added. text specifications for normal prompts. Line 2 in the DATA.TXT
  51.       and VOICE.TXT text files will now specify what is displayed when
  52.       normal editing mode is activated.
  53.     - Fixed. a problem when re-editing phone numbers. Now when a user with
  54.       a security level greater than the new user security level specified
  55.       in the PCBSETUP program (PCBOARD.DAT file line 149), the program will
  56.       then activate normal editing mode so that the default is available.
  57.       Allowing the user or the sysop to simply press enter for no change.
